PROFESSIONAL EXPERT CUSTOM PICTURE FRAMING
Custom
Picture Framing with 'exquisite style and beauty!' That's
the description customer Cindy Chamberlain used when she picked
up the lovely watercolor her mother painted many years ago.
'My mother told me I was crazy for just leaving it and letting
you design the matting and framing, but I knew it would be
beautiful. It always is!'
We always strive to provide the perfect Presentation
and the correct level of Preservation. Our picture
framing designs, our extensive selection, and our attention
to quality and service - these are the things that have
earned our picture framing shop more than one 'Best Custom
Picture Framing' award by Charlotte media and the public.
We were recently voted 'Best of the Best' in Custom Picture
Framing by Charlotte Magazine!
Customers regularly compliment Harris as much for the framing
of his watercolor paintings and prints as they do for his
art!
We carry eight different lines of moulding, from inexpensive
and simple, to handcrafted gold leaf closed corner frames,
from metal poster moulding to fine, hand-finished, carved
Italian mouldings. Our selection of gold and silver moulding
is extensive: we carry comtemporary maples, exotic burl
veneers and pickled pine, black moulding in many sleek or
distressed designs, and we have beautiful cherry, walnut and
oak in many finishes, designs and loosk. We also have many
unique, funky and interesting mouldings to compliment the
many traditional moulidng lines we offer.
We also have many different matting options, including special
papers and deep bevel mats in a wide variety of styles, colors
and designs. We specialize in handwrapped linen mats, suedes
and silks, even chennile. We also have embossed, corregated
and leather finishes, too!
Our
experienced, professional framing staff will be happy to suggest
just the right framing and matting for your artwork, diploma,
childrens' school-made masterpieces and class photos, maps,
mirrors, sports memorabilia, quilts and needlework - anything
you can think of to frame! We want to help you "tell
your story on your walls," for example, we framed
a golf club, scorecard and photo from a special round of golf
for a man who presented it to his brother as a gift. We framed
a young basketball player's jersey, piece of net and signed
program from a YMCA Championship game.
The Harris Holt Gallery is conveniently located in the geographic
center of Mecklenburg County, one and a half miles south of
the Square at Trade and Tryon - in the heart of Dilworth.
We have plenty of parking beside our Charleston pink building.
